Lance Thomas is a living legend, a watch dealer. Many in the Old West would have been intimidated by his amazing handgun skills.
He trained very, very well and fought off gang members. They kept coming back to his store again and again -- sometimes for revenge simply because he had successfully defended his own life for aggressors.
Thomas' case speaks to the importance of good training and staying trained. Instead of moving his business out of the neighorbood, leading to its further economic collapse, he kept his doors open.
