Facts and questions
It's now undeniable that the US allowed truckloads of weapons to pass into the hands of Mexican drug criminals under a program called "Fast and Furious."
The claim was that this was done so that they could trace the guns to the bad guys.
One problem: No one traced anything - even in this age of microchips and NSA total surveillance.
Another undeniable fact; The Zeta Cartel got its start in the US where founding members were trained by US Special Forces. The idea, so they say, was that these guys would hunt drug kingpins for us. The trainees had other ideas and created their own drug cartel.
Also a fact is that one of the top leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel says that the US provided arms to his group and safe passage of drugs into the US in exchange for them providing intelligence to the US on other drug cartels.
The US government denies this claim, but who are going to believe? Hardened criminals or the US government?
Now that's a tough one.
